Penny is private by default.

Your subscription data stays on your device — always. Penny does not collect personal information, does not run servers, and does not share anything with third parties. This policy explains exactly what we do (and don't) do.

1. Who we are

Penny is an independent app developed and published as a sole-developer product. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the developer of the Penny app. For questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data Penny stores

All data entered into Penny is stored locally on your device using Apple's native storage frameworks. This includes:

• Subscription names, categories, and cost amounts
• Billing cycle, billing day, and status (Active / Trial)
• Trial expiry dates and renewal reminder preferences
• App settings and preferences (currency, appearance, etc.)

None of this data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself.

3. Data we do not collect

Penny does not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry
• Browsing behaviour or in-app interaction data
• Financial account numbers or payment card details

4. In-app purchases

Penny offers a one-time Pro upgrade through Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.
